Right whale up-calls were detected on our Norfolk buoy this morning! These detections triggered a voluntary slow zone that will last for 15 days called the "E Virginia Beach Slow Zone". A mom-calf pair were spotted off the coast of South Carolina last week. It's been a great start to the right whale migration season!
