As a part of the UofSC Fall 2021 Climate Theme Semester, I hosted a panel where six faculty members gave a short presentation describing their research, education, and community involvement related to anthropogenic climate change. We had broad participation, including faculty in the School of the Earth, Ocean and Environment, as well as the departments of Biological Sciences, Geography and philosophy. The event was free and open to the public and was well attended by an in-person audience and remote participants. This panel was made possible thanks to funding from a UofSC College of Arts and Sciences Climate Theme Semester Co-curricular event award. |
